LIVEJOURNAL? ()
I finally got around to experimenting with livejournal. I've always preferred the signature 'clean-cut' style of LJ but I guess Blogger seemed like an easier option back then. I think I'll probably stay with Blogger until I figure out how to customise LJ's CSS and userpic options, because those are the most attractive aspects of LJ.

There is also a grandejetes.livejournal; that's also mine. But that was Failed Attempt at LJ #1.

Halo, halo, halo. (Thursday, December 03, 2009)
I think it's freaking crazy how much everyone has improved at dance today.
Everyone was awesome at Halo; they/we really were. Although I'm pretty sure no modern dancer likes One Republic and Beyonce anymore.

I am now sourcing for batch dance costumes/music (although music has been sort of confirmed, everyone should be open to new suggestions!); found some skirts from Grade 7 and 8 ballet exam; found some songs too. But I am hopeless at downloading files so I don't know how to let batchmates listen on the next dance practice without divulging anything concerning to Dance Night preparation. This sounds a bit pathetic, yeah.

Everyone's really excited for Dance Night; and with good reason. It looks fanstastic.

Mid-sweet talk. (Monday, November 30, 2009)
ha•lo (h l )
n. pl. ha•los or ha•loes
1. A luminous ring or disk of light surrounding the heads or bodies of sacred figures, such as saints, in religious paintings; a nimbus.

Dance was good today; the whole session consisted of Halo, otherwise known as “This Little Bright Light Around the Bigs’ Heads”. (Well, that sounds appealing; it would give the dance a big of edge, eh?)

Anyway, I suppose Halo gives us an opportunity to realise how much our batch has grown as dancers, and also allows us to envisage what we can become in the future. I genuinely think the choreographers especially have done an excellent job; the dance is undeniably exquisite. Watching batchmates (especially during the evaluation) dance Halo today was very inspiring; for two reasons. One, it is lovely to see how their hard work has paid off. Halo has been developed into this impressively powerful yet delicate dance; to the point that it looks professional. Two, it is painfully obvious that I have a lot to improve on, if that wasn’t obvious enough, yeah.

I don’t know; perhaps it is the end of the year and I am in a mood for reflections. This sudden burst of mushiness and sentimentality from someone like myself is very queer indeed.
