Little Big Dreams. (Sunday, August 10, 2008)
I just saw this documentary called Little Big Dreams. OMG, it was so sad la. Poor families sent their children to gymnastics school in hope that they'll become world champions in the future and free the family from the poverty circle. And the oldest student (s) in the school is 9 years old only. Then the boys train so hard for 5 years and they don't qualify for the competition. Then they get kicked out. So the gymnastics dream is gone and they've also missed 5 years of academic study. Aah...so sad :( |
