I've been looking for the Peace solos on SYTYCD 3 and I finally found it:D 'Cause I only saw like the judging of the solos when it was aired. Here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XDB-pu9cgPEI did say that I thought Sabra didn't really deserve to win SYTYCD but I think her performance here changd my mind! :D Danny and Sabra were great, I thought Pasha looked weird. You know, with the slicked back hair and all the posh-ness, it doesn't exactly suit a white tee and drawstring pants. But I totally LOVED Lauren's musicality and precision and Neil's leaps. I would love one of those shirts, especially Sabra's UNITY one. I really like Lauren and Danny...in general la. Lacey was fun AND had really, really good technique and grasped new styles really quick too. Maybe because Benji won SYTYCD 2 and, I don't know, not really good to have siblings win 2 seasons? Danny and Lauren's wonderful but very, very, very short routine by *gasp* Mia Michaels!http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OUJkwCfjTvY At the ending, when Lauren is about to run up the stairs, Danny stops her, right? I thought it looked like he was, like, gonna say: "Hold on, I gotta do 5 pirouettes first. A routine isn't complete without that!" Like, every routine Danny does has gotta have 4 pirouettes at least. Except for the Peace one. Even when he does ballroom like salsa/samba which to me, doesn't look very appropriate. I love her because she went en pointe! Season 2 was definitely the best season. Benji was great entertaiment, comically and all, Travis was so superbly technical, Heidi always killed all her ballroom dances, Allison and Ivan were like the best paired couple and Jessica goes en pointe in her (some) solos! You know, no one seems to remember much from SYTYCD 1. Nick, Ashle and Melody, that's all I remember. So we did some funny skit thing and Munshuen was supposedly pregnant (the 29th baby). Yeah, sick jokes. And she was, like, stuffing 3 jackets into her own sweater to make her tummy big. Mrs Wong commented that it looked more like a case of a middle aged man's central obesity, aka beer belly! Lols. Anyway, I don't really think we'll get in, hahas. Ling Li's group was pretty good, I think. Just pray pray pray I'll get into CAP. Yesterday had some Girl-to-Girl talk. Siqi and I were contemplating who would be the 'girl' speaker for the talk, haha. We thought she was the black batwoman at first, hah. Anyway, I thought the skin parts were useful. *They said they will give us a free toner la! I'm interested in that, it looks cool. Anyway, the 'girl' speaker (who was 23, so can still pass off as 'Girl') was supposed to give out free face foam too but no time. Aww. Desire for freebies = a Singaporean trait. Hold on, it should be a more prominent trait in Singapore. Because everyone likes free stuff :D BUT skin control was the least of it. We went on to more, um, mature issues lol. Very graphic images...*shakes head* As Mrs Wong tactfully puts it, "very liberal". Next, we had first aid. Was okay, although not exactly captivating. Then some leadership programme. I don't know, it didn't seem very much like promoting leadership, more like teamwork. But the speakers were wayy good. Oh yeah, Siqi lies through her teeth! :O Just joking but she did something very naughty :) Oh yeah, I didn't get F9 after all, I got E8 for Math EOY. Ah well, it helps improve my mark, it does and I love the Math department for that. Not Math the subject but the Math people. My back hurts, like muscle ache kind. Must be yesterday's dance. Modern Dance + Ballet? Not a good combination, XD. Super 爽, no need to go to school for three days, yay! Tuesday is the West Coast Park outing. Bleh. Not allowed to buy food there, cannot go to the beachside, only can mill around and do nothing but climb monkey bars. Wah, wordy post, man. And nicely splitted into lovely paragraphs, even! [edit] I'm gonna change the song some day because I think Womanizer sounds a little warped up by imeem. imeem also makes John Mayer's voice on Waiting On The World to Change to sound squeaky, lols. I don't much like imeem newest look, it's kinda in-your-face. I preferred their old transparent look. It's happened, OMG and damn it. I tell myself to endure, just for 365. Even so, not much I can do. And *'s attitude really really pisses me off. Digressing from the subject, I'm really worried about my Overall MSG. I really want it to be less than 3.5!!! |
