Had dance in the morning yesterday; quite slackish, to be honest.NYMD X'mas party at 4, was the first to arrive :O Anyway, was fun, played charades & other party games etc. The BBQ was quite disastrous actually, no one knew exactly how to start and keep a fire going. But that resulted in very nicely toasted marshmallows :D Then the current Sec 2s decided that they would hold an impromptu audition for Apologise. And Jielin got in congrats! :D Then played some more games (I Never & some chinese coin-passing game?) All the stuff I made off with: 3 candy canes (there were extras!), a plastic martini glass, 2 gingerbread men, a card from Kelly and Mabel, very lovely personalized keychains from a very lovely Chermaine and a pig soft toy thinggum from Cheryl (gift exchange). Sorry for my very un-creative gift of chocolates, Clare! I watched a lot of Sylvie Guillem today. Contemporary dance! And the music is actually quite Liu-ish. I wouldn't say this was ballet. More like lyrical en pointe. Now I'm waiting for MD-ers to post pics of the party so I can kope them. |
