1. Shower time was nice because there was no need to wait as we could use all the toilets (except Science block) from 1st level to 4th level and all of us could use the showerheads. Nobody banging on the doors and shouting, "2 MINUTES LEFT!"

2.Food wasn't half bad. We even had Oreos for supper ;)

3. We got to sleep in the dance studio which is air conditioned (although it turned out to be freezing cold in the middle of the night) And wake up at 0700!

4. No strict dress codes, like only shoes and socks in particular areas.

But dance camp was deadly because I brought a running nose back with a slightly sore throat. And many people were sneezing too :O

We played games on the first day morning. As Karyan noted, NYMD was competitive but it was all for good fun and at the end of everything, everyone is just like haha, laughing. Unlike inter-class games or even class games where everyone is super duper competitive like animals. And at the end of the game, people will say, "XXX class's people are so rough OR XXX class cheated lorh!" And I will not deny that I have said such words before :O

So yeah, dance practice @ rooftop hall. Thank God for the black shirt I brought just in case. We watched Bring It On: In It to Win It and it was about cheerleading.

Next day: Dance lesson in the morning, then had water games. We totally lost the objective of the game, haha. But Karyan made off with all the Sec4s paper because they were more concerned about wetting people. But halfway I heard someone yell HILARY very loudly. Siqi saved me from the atrocities of the game, lol. No, actually I wouldn't have minded getting wet because we would be going home immediately after anyway. So it was really fun.

And I'm going to confess that I didn't maximise our self prac time. I'm going to address the root of the problem, why I don't get the motivation to do so. I really want to say NYMD will score for SYF. I come down lunch/recess practice almost everytime. I've never missed because I didn't complete homework, okay. BUT sometimes I slack somewhat because I can't find that passion for the SYF dance. I used to really enjoy CCA and I'll be like, "Yay, tomorrow got CCA." And when I get to the dance room I want to start dance because I enjoy it and it's fun and I like to show off the dance moves and all. (Confessions are like that okay.) I really really really want to enjoy dance. Not just for SYF but for the 4 (or 3) more years that I will be spending in NYMD, 3 days a week. I'm sorry if this sounds like controversial and makes me sound stuck up and that I don't care about NYMD and I'm a slacker but yeah, it's the truth. Sorry if I make anyone disappointed. Therefore, I am going to try find that passion again and even if I don't, I will practice for SYF, with or without passion, with pure hard work.

Okay, that sounds so...unlike me. High Cs aren't suppose to wear their feelings and thoughts on their sleeves! Haha. And some more it's so controversial, we're supposed to hate conflict! :D

After dance camp, I was kind of tired but I still went swimming with Hipchip Pomunk and went for ballet at night. What to do, ballet exam is also coming (and equally as important).

Progress reports are out! Mr Tan didn't even give comments. Mr Mackintosh's comments addressed me as Heidi. Mrs Wong said I improved. (Ha! Still fail quiz, just not a zero) Mrs Siew said I've have done very well for Chem and should strive for the best :DD Mrs Heng said I was cooperative and ever ready, and that my writing showed maturity and creativity. Lilaoshi gave the usual comment Chinese teachers give. (aka read more)

And look what I found! NYMD's 2003's SYF. It's Bleeding Love/Forgive Me's costume! Cool right. Not even 2009's Sec 4s joined NYMD yet. I was like eight in 2003. But I kind of see 'contemporary' in the steps. But diff mood.
