.jpg) 4NYMD! "Atticus Finch must have drank a lot of Milo." -Karyan That sentence was super impromtu-funny. We were drinking Milo on Thursday quad prac and that led us to discuss the Milo advertisment with the Ping Pong drama guy. I just saw it on telly and there wasn't exactly anything about courage and determination but you get the gist. So I was saying, "How does Milo give you courage in competitions?" Then Karyan said, "Atticus must have drank a lot of Milo." HAHAHAHAH. So of course, that joke didn't just end there, in fact it lasted till today's bus trip to UCC. Coca-cola got randomly mentioned somewhere around the hair straightnening, Sanlu milk powder got added into the mix on the bus, Bob Ewell and Atticus's wife too! Gosh, Karyan and I are such dilligent students. TKAM helps us develop our critical and creative thinking, eh? Today's dance was from 1230-2000. Arrived super duper late because the Mama insisted I HAD to eat lunch, even when I was full from the late breakfast. (I was a coward because I drank Coke! You'd never get the joke unless you're Karyan.) But turned out they didn't do anything and I arrived right when Kelly told the rest to start on their hair. Dance prac was good :D Liulaoshi gave one of those morally uplifting talks, and she said she would award us a Gwh for effort, which was really confident-boosting. Make up was cool, but I think I'll never get the art of application of eye shadow and blusher. IM A POISON APPLE. UCC rehearsal was not bad, lighting and make up effects really created the atmosphere of, ehem. Ms Goh said we showed tremendous improvement from the first rehearsal (which was a long time ago). Morally uplifting, once again. Kelly and Mabel have also been giving speech-like entries in Yahoo group I think. I think nobody dares to say anything demoralising now that SYF is so so so near. Nervous, anyone? I've never danced competitively before actually ;D 4 days to SYF. NYMD is aiming for a Gwh. The source of motivation. Not everything, but that's what will make us happy dancers :D 6 days to Grade 8 RAD. Haven't been working hard for this exam but I really want to scrape a Distinction. Because I haven't got one since grade 3. That doesn't really show up great on my lists of accomplishments. Jiayou everyone, for everything. |
