Hello. I didn’t accomplish much today, except PN1 and some misc. stuff like filing, re-reading through the rubrics for Math SIA and finding out some horrible stuff we forgot to do. And the template/scaffolding for the SIA because I wasn’t really sure on what Siqi wanted me to do L
Chinese tuition in the early afternoon; tutor and I ended up talking about homosexuality because of the AWARE saga, haha. Oh yeah, and she mentioned about viruses that attach porn on documents but too bad I missed Mrs Heng and Cikgu Hanim’s informative PCCG talk on internet pornography.
Immediately after, went for ballet. Probably doing Interfound, finally? With the Grade 6-ers. (a bunch of boisterous, loud, crazy and to a certain extent, irritating people who totally question my intelligence). Shall not elaborate further, pfft.
Came back, ate mother’s claypot rice again. She also made bo bo cha cha, which tasted a 10000000x better than my Home Econs one because yeah, bobo chacha is not a healthy dish, and is not meant to be one.So, never make bobo chacha with ‘healthy alternatives’ and fool yourself into using soya bean milk in place of coconut milk. Ooh, another tip from HilaryH :D
SIAs suck. Who is the initiative student that actually wanted such assignments? The very fact that is has the same percentage as a whole block test is just incredibly cruel, psssht. And in no way are SIAs fun. Not even the slack subjects like music, drama and CME. Why should there even BE projects for such subjects? Unless we’re such immoral and uncivilized people that we need to go through a SIA to learn about respect and harmony. Oh wait, our CME SIA isn’t even about morals. It’s about NY’s history. Why?
I’m not insulting the school system, I’m just complaining about my own incompetence to cope with work, in a childish way. That’s all to it. Maybe when I’m older, I’ll look back on my posts and think how childish and lame I was. In fact, I do think my last year posts were written in a really lame style, even though that was only 5 months ago.

HilaryH's Guide to Block Tests: Never freak out on the day, especially Math. Because it's no use last minute studying math, math is a practice subject, you have understand formulas and apply it to about 10 thousand horrible questions. Math is not a last minute study subject. That will be one of the very few good-girl-like guides to life you will see by HilaryH. Oh, but last-minute studying can work for science and humanities ;D Just keep that in mind.
