Shut up and put your money where your mouth is. (Monday, May 18, 2009)
Block Test 1Language Arts: 22/30 (A2) Chinese: 78.5/110 (A2) Math: 42/60 (A2) Chemistry: 28/40 (A2) Humanities: 34/43 (A1) So, got back LA papers today which were disappointing. Before I go off and wail about cumulonimbus clouds, I would like to say: Don’t come and say that I got an A2, it’s so good already, and I still complain about it publicly to show off how wonderful I am at the subject. Because I didn’t get an A1 for Math like 99% of the cohort did, so shut up. There’s a really fine line between addressing an issue and ranting. While I usually would like to think that I address issues on my blog, I shall rant today :D And there is a enormously thick line between ranting intelligibly and logically and ranting in an uncouth manner. I choose the uncouth. WALAO THE TEACHER CAN JUST GIVE ME 0.5 MARK MORE THAN I GET AN A1 LEH. JUST A PUNY 0.5 MARK! THEN NEVER GIVE COMMENTS, NEVER GIVE RUBRICS, NEVER TELL WHY I GET THIS MARK. STUPID STUPID STUPID. That’s all. You won’t get to see uncouth language here for quite sometime I hope, so give yourselves sometime to relish in this. Had drama during lunch today; we jumped from 3rd group to present to 1st. We had better get some marks for such punctual submission of prompt copy, okay. Was hungry like madness because there was nothing for breakfast again. I bet you I was hungrier than Mrs Heng on meeting days. Mr Ng was angry because no one did prompt copy (except us!) so he dismissed us 15 minutes early. Thus had time to eat biscuits. Art was painting with watercolours = disaster. Chinese did 4 Chinese summaries; CCT had a cheering session to “prepare us for CSM because we have to beat HCI”. We once again, displayed how we were a bunch of unenthusiastic, unpatriotic girls who always look bored, however, with a few oddities here and there. Dance was in the dance studio; hence vast difference in attitude towards cca. Karyan: “So hot!” Me: “But it’s fun.” Sadly, you’ll only get those kinds of replies from me when dance is in air-conditioned rooms. They’re having re-auditions for Apologise, attempted to learn the dance. Sec Ones were perfecting the movements for the new combo. Also did grande battements, grande jetes <3, sliding exercise, 3 count and moonwalker :D fun. And to round the day off, we did SYF Stalemate revision for Cluster 6, which is on Friday. Getting LoA, noooo! I can’t afford to miss Science/Math/History. We’re behind time for Science; I actually enjoy History because it’s interesting and fun; I suck at Math. I can’t/don’t want to miss any of these; why can’t I miss PE. Got into some shit sabbaticals: Speech Training. Expected, really. So now I have to go learn how to speak in Chinese fluently for one week, YAY! |
