It’s the 150th post!
I seriously need to start on my Chinese SIA and book reports because I foresee I’ll be spending a lot a lot a lot of time on it, due to my once again, amazing Chinese prowess. Eek, awkward sentence phrasing. Hipchip Pomunk and my mother baked cupcakes today. Crazily sweet, like 2 cups of sugar for the base and 150g of sugar for the icing.

INSPIRE/Heartbeat performance is coming up this week but what’s the costume? I don’t even know.

In addition, school troupes with outstanding SYF central judging results such as Nanyang Chinese Dance and Raffles Institution Junior College Modern Dance will bring you to a new dimension of grace and tranquility while effervescent Raffles Institution Junior College Street Dance and Hwa Chong Institution's Music and Dance Society will have you tapping your feet to the pulsating heartbeats.

Firstly, hey why does NYCD get a mention but not NYMD? Our SYF results also very outstanding you know! Yeah but I know NYCD has been a lot more consistent, getting the highest award every time, they’ve very strong technique and good flexibility, while NYMD, while having a lot of good dancers too, just gets pulled down by people like me.

Secondly, if NYCD and RJC’s modern dance represent grace and tranquillity, and RJC’s street dance and HCI’s music & dance represent liveliness and youth, (I’m guessing they’re all doing their SYF piece, since NYCD’s dances are not all graceful and tranquil) what does NYMD’s Apologise mean? “The guests will feel a sense of nostalgia and be reminded of an apology-gone-wrong, how they could not swallow that pill called pride and now, how they regret it.” Nice, no?

It is good to blog everyday you know. I wonder why some people find it a chore, even though they’ve switched on their computer (because they’ve got facebook & msn & a lot of other distracting applications). It’s like a journal without all the paper and ink. I wonder if it reduces your carbon footprint, since you don’t use the paper. But you do use electricity, hmm? It’s like LA journal but you get to write about more interesting things than your thoughts on Mississippi Burning or Scout’s behavioural habits. It’s fun okay. Yeah I’m impossibly N.E.R.D.Y. and proud of it.

I’m going to step into a movie theatre on Monday with batchmates. Wow. I thought I’d never get to see a movie screen for the whole of the holidays but I’m going to! I’m like this Amish that blogs.
