What in the name of Merlin’s most baggy Y Fronts was that about? (Tuesday, June 09, 2009)
Hey. I went out for two consecutive days and that’s saying something :)Monday Apologize prac @ 9am, formation, followed by Sec 3 scrutinising of movements, which was considerably more violent than the Sec 4s. Anyway, I hope NYMD will do great for HEARTBEAT, Inspire’09, with mention in brochures or without. Batch outing, lunch @ BBQ Chicken. Saw Renee (ballet) afterwards.  Dance, Subaru had ballet scenes, was nice, touching and inspiring, but since I’m constantly fighting for the title of critical b, I must say that there are some nit-picky ballet-related mistakes. Like the 4 drag queen swans were not wearing pointe shoes and therefore should not have made so much noise. And Liz Parks wore red pointe shoes for her DQ performance. Nobody wears coloured pointe shoes for classical ballet performances, OK! But I do understand that this movie doesn’t really focus on dancing but instead the inspiring journey of Subaru, the main girl. ALL BATCHIES WHO LAUGHED AT THE DRAG QUEEN BALLET, THIS IS A MUST-SEE :D My heart is cold; when everyone was sort of sniffling at the touching last part, I yawned thrice. Home afterwards. Tuesday/Today  Night at the Museum 2 with family. The silence is in fact, jarring to the ears. |
