O Romeo, Romeo, wherefore art thou Romeo?Today is Youth Day and stay-@-home day, plus ex-FOA rehearsal day. Sadly, FOA has been postponed. Postponed to WHEN, really? Until the H1N1 flu virus decides to retire? Which will be who-knows when. Maybe there won’t be any FOA this year, and if H1N1 gets more serious next year, no Dance Night. (or Music Night or whatever concert night) I watched excerpts of Romeo and Juliet. But in ballet form. 1st vid: At the feast; you can see Romeo in the mask, Juliet, Nurse, and Rosaline. 2nd vid: At Juliet’s tomb; Paris is killed by Romeo. Angel Corella (whoo!) as Romeo, Alessandra Ferri (double whoo!) as Juliet and an unknown Bryan Hewison as Paris. I found out that Gaynor Mindens (which apparently have already broken in shoes) are sold at the Orchard branch of Sonata but my Sanshas are clean and only used twice a week. Plus GM is expensive but they look really pretty and arch-defining you know. I’m not taking InterFound this year (or maybe, never), but I can’t wait to see all the G6s fail it. Like seriously, I thought my class took it after G7 and a person with incredible technique, flexibility and arches like G only got an average score. Don’t kid me, man. I told you; if I can’t get high marks, I want people to fail. Oh God, I’m as mean as a median. (lame!) Lastly, my mother brought back some DVDs including Knowing and The Uninvited. Psychological thrillers. Changed blogskin again. The original colour of this skin was red/yellow/brown/a disgustingly bright blue. So I only allow ONE bright colour and the rest shall be muted for I have shed off bimbonism. |
