I was just sitting in the U bend thinking about death, and it fell right through the top of my head. (Friday, July 03, 2009)
Hello, it's Friday. A 'long' weekend ahead of us, even those in performing arts, because due to H1N1, FOA has been postponed. No smiley face there. I was quite looking forward to performing Stalemate again and donning that uncomplimentary costume that makes you look fat (but again, our SYF costume is very creative). To add fuel to fire that CCA lovers are experiencing now, CCA is cancelled for the next week. Aw. I haven't done modern dance in...God knows how many days. H1N1 is a serious party pooper.

Well, that leaves Monday free for me to do Biology revision/Expository essay/Lit.Circles work.
Today I went down to the canteen, for the first time in 5 days, since school reopened. And I spent a grand total of $1.45 this week (not including school stuff like physic template and Malay textbook). Therefore I saved $18.55 this week :) good eh? I am planning to keep this up for quite a while more.

I also did my Chinese story telling which I was, once again, a horrible square. I talk and dance like a square. Is there anything else that I am squarish at? Also had Math SIA presentation, screwed my Problem Statement #1 and got slightly jumbled up.

PCCG, communication with parents. I forgot to bring PCCG book but no one cared.
Chinese, we went to Cameroon Highlands.
Physics, theory pretending to be lab/practical work.
Math, presentation.
History, no powerpoint slides but I always enjoy history.
LA, Mrs Heng was going through Literature Circles in great detail which is good, but adolescents + an Internet connection + working computer = inattentiveness.

H1N1 is getting more and more common in Singapore. It's so common that the MOH reccomends that if you suspect you have been infected with the H1N1 virus, do not panic. Just go to a polyclinic. Even you've got the H1N1 flu virus they WILL NOT PRESCRIBE Tamiflu to you. They'll just give you normal cough syrup and antihistamines, and I really know the meaning of this word without checking up :) anyway, you just rest at home now with cough syrups and flu pills etc. They don't even care if you've got the virus. They just treat it like normal flu. But please practice good personal hygiene and be saliva-unfriendly. I saw 2 sec ones sitting in the class-allocated tables but sharing bubble tea. The class tables are meant to control (sort of) the virus in small groups, that way people of different classes minimise their contact with other classes. Then I see two people sharing their bubble tea.

Lastly, I would like introduce all you readers to a new invention. P-boards! Not sure what they are? Read the advertisement below and find out how P-boards can greatly benefit you.

Ever had problems with your unusually extensive knowledge? Ever had experienced nasty scenarios where normal boards were unable to contain your fast-flowing thoughts and ideas? Many girls feel that the normal 42cm x 30cm board sizes are unable to contain all their information. Well, no worries, we are now introducing the new revolutionary ultra thin P-BOARDS! P-BOARDS are discreet and ultra thin, ultra compact and ultra cheap. What's more, they absorb your content and information better than any other boards. Sizes are available in 59.4cm x 84.1cm and 84.1cm x 118.8cm. All products come with wings.

*grandejetes.blogspot.com is the official advertiser for this limited edition product.

Oh well. I don't think that adequately explained the product to the readers but remember, I'm just advertising for P-BOARDS company, I'm not the actual inventor. In fact, I don't even use them.

I know that confused you but it was incredibly fun to do :D
