Oh thank GOD for LMS. I stupidly left my file under my table. So now I’m only left with history assignment, math open quiz and physics stuff. CS1 and lesson notes can be found in LMS. UGH UGH UGH :( and this isn’t the first time I’ve left that all-knowing file underneath my table you know. Plus the fact that it’s the weekend. That is also one of the things that I don’t feel secure without, including white cloths and safety pins, hmm.STUPID. STUPID. STUPID. STUPID. STUPID. Yesterday was a regular Friday, 17th July who pretended to be Racial Harmony Day. So ¾ of the class went back to their roots and wore ethnic costumes, under the two form teachers’ strong encouragement. And I wore my funky, totally cool Chinese jacket with a very high Mandarin collar. I admit I looked stupid.  Dance before FDL performance was more batch improvisation/self-choreo. Sec 1s came and did Apologise for Liulaoshi. Went for Dancers’ Locker after dance; ate at this Hip Diner USA place at Bugis Junction. Dancers’ Locker by FDL was great; abstract; lots of props. Unexpectedly colourful at the last bit, liked the frequent use of windows, voice and creative props. Didn’t really like the multimedia parts because it seemed a bit low-budget and I don’t really think it enhanced the dance? I stress that this is from a viewpoint of a novice dancer, though. But sometimes I want to see Liulaoshi’s own choreography, not just her students/other dancers; although I know they are all influenced by her. Overall it was very very good. Great. Fantastic. Cool :D Ballet today was normal, unlike last week. We still did major pointe work for near 2 hours = 3 blisters but surprisingly, no pain! Yay, I think I’m on my way to toes that don’t get painful blisters. The G6s complain of bruised nails, toes, super painful blisters etc. (Hey, I’ve been dancing en pointe for 2 years and even I haven’t gotten bruises. How in the world did they get them?) But their blisters are really quite bad and big, while I get always only get teensy ones, hahah. That is good. Got back G8 certificate today; my technique totally failed me :( character/Dance Russe was the highest score for me. The certificate states that overall pass mark is 80% for every solo. Which means…I failed everything! HBP tomorrow, whoo :D My sister thought that HBP was the last instalment of the movie/book series so she is/was very keen on watching it. Then my father told my sister that this is not the last movie, the last movie is going to be called Harry Potter and the Full-Blood Prince. |
