What d'you think Harry's going to do with his Firebolt - sweep the floor? (Wednesday, July 01, 2009)
Today was not bad; school ended early, a lot of slack subjects. Physics theory under the pretence of lab today and hey, I actually understand physics! That is, for now. Mr Chia didn’t come today, plus it was raining; therefore no PE, WOO! We slacked around in class. Malay with Cikgu Hanim, Language Arts was finer than fine, Assembly/CCT was a short ‘talk’ with Cikgu Hanim, while the others suffered under the wrath of the…boring classroom. What did you expect me to say, hmm? I wonder if anyone really confessed to the teachers about all the ‘emo’ periods they’ve lived through. “I can’t cope with homework, I’ve failed all my tests, I have to sleep at 3am every night, and I hate my CCA. I have an addiction to Facebook and computer games. My class sucks, teachers are stupid and biased, my siblings annoy me all the time and I shout at my parents everyday. I feel suicidal. I’m so EMO and I cry every morning in forests like Romeo.” Obviously I didn’t say that and none of that is true anyway. But the teachers can’t really believe that we are these angels who have happy, near-perfect (or maybe boring) lives. I mean, we clearly deserve a tick in all the boxes because I think everyone has a healthy life but seriously, we DO find people irritating. We DO quarrel with parents. We DO fail tests and quizzes. We DO disturb our siblings and call them names. However, there’s nothing big enough that I would like to confess to anyone :) Tomorrow we will have ICT (hey you're talking to someone who can't find the 'forward' button on gmail), chinese dance (which I personally enjoy, as opposed to majority of 206), white space and math presentation. Maybe I should stop hating so much on Twilight because I am indignant when people say Harry Potter is lame. Okay, not that big of a reaction but I suppose Twilight fans don’t like it when the handsome Edward Cullen is mocked. But I just can't live without making a dig at Twilight! Stephenie Meyer can't write worth a darn. Hey i didn't say that, aim your complains at Stephen King, one of the most respected and widely-read authors of his generation. Next, Hipchip Pomunk is officially attempting tennis now. In fact, she’s off for lessons today. Will this chubby cross between a rodent and a Hippopotamidae finally find her niche, not in ballet, but in tennis? Lastly, do I come across as mean and cold? My grandmother and father say I do. You know I’m actually this passionate and encouraging, warm and loving, blithesome and vivacious, kind and spirited person. Like, duh. And I’m incredibly modest okay. |
