LOVE NYMD <3; HATE LOAs. (Thursday, August 27, 2009)
Firstly, when I mentioned that Mrs Heng said that we could hate her for life in yesterday's post, it does not mean that I will hate her for life. It doesn't even mean that I hate her. So, in a repeated reminder, please do not take anything in this blog seriously because it's all utter rubbish.

Today was a slack-subject day; basically we were fainéant, idle and sluggish for the whole day because there wasn’t anything worth the effort to be attentive to, maybe except Chinese. (On a side note, the Order of the Thesaurus will prevail! Despite being annoying, irksome and uncalled for.)

ICT was a start on Adobe Dreamweaver, finally HTML something I at least know how to edit minimally (although I don’t know how to code at all); Chinese, did SIA presentations.

Chinese Dance was enjoyable, CHENlaoshi just went straight to the dancing/stretching once she arrived and she somewhat praised NYMD’s HePing performance, also adding that we all became “actors” that night. I don’t necessarily disagree as the dance unquestionably relies a great deal on drama, improvisation and storylines. Then it was White space; followed by the trip to Chinese Heritage Centre at NTU.

The tour was relatively boring; we all trudged around in a lackadaisical manner but the worst was yet to come. The video was the most poorly directed piece of work, or “short film”, I’ve seen in a long time. Not to mention, boring, platitudinous, outdated and the horror, it’s in Chinese without subtitles! A few more years to go and the screening of such videos may become anachronous. I almost slept, or did I sleep? The second video was much better because it was in English and Cantonese with subtitles.
OK I admit I checked up anachronous.

And surprise, surprise. We're getting an LoA tomorrow again. What is this relationship between LoA permits and NYMD? I will be missing a little bit of Physics, Math, History and Language Arts. There is a 100% chance that Mrs Wong TPY is starting the topic of Energy and Work and I will have to miss the last part. There is a 75% chance that there is a Math quiz tomorrow and a 100% chance that Mrs Wong will be explaining Linear Inequalities and I'd have to skip it and I won't understand anything. There is a 95% chance that Mr Mackintosh will be going through Nationalism notes. And most importantly, there is at least a 45% chance that we will get back LA papers tomorrow!

Stupid teachers day dinner shit. I've missed a whole day of lessons on Monday, two lessons today and now I am going to miss all the important Friday lessons except PCCG. Yeah, like we all need is PCCG in our life. YOU ARE EFFING KIDDING ME, wtf. I am just going to fail EOY, that's all.

I have nothing against NYMD's practices. I just hate missing lessons. I know that we all have to make sacrifices for CCA but THIS is just absurd. I've missed half the lessons this week. So has everyone in NYMD but results are not compared within NYMD. NYMD is loved but I hate, condemn, loathe, detest, resent, abhor and object to LoAs for whatever reason. I'm sorry if this sounds like I'm a CCA hater. I'm not. I just hate missing lessons more.

LOA: Loss of Ability. Seriously.

EOY mood is setting in; yet we haven’t even got our LA block tests back. Therefore, I strongly urge everyone to participate in PMS. No, it’s not that syndrome which many female teachers seem to go through periodically or even, perpetually.

Poetry Module Strike.

“STOP THE POETRY. GIVE THE PAPERS.”

“NO PAPERS, NO PROGRESS REPORT, NO POETRY.”
