We had National Day celebrations today, so 2/6 wore our fabulous red dri-fit class tee. They made us sing in the quadrangle during assembly, it was stifling hot and dri-fit my foot; the shirt only sticks to your body but not soak up sweat. And the shirt is just impossibly big in the first place. Woo, class spirit. NE quiz in the classroom, suddenly, George Yeo became an ex-PM and S. Rajaratnam became an ex-President, haha. Then was mascot-making for Gennie and we dressed her up as a lion! Personally I think the head really completed the outfit but yay 2/6 won something for Mascot :D More singing of (past and present) National Day songs; people started to stand on the benches and progressed to tables. 10 excited people on a poor single table (each); bouncing around, treating it like a trampoline. Not going to the canteen to eat for a while, I tell you. Teachers sang too but I thought Mrs Heng has a grand total of 3 classes, how come she didn't get enough screams to sing? After mascot competition and the singing, we went back to class for some sort of debrief that soon turned into a mass race and grabbing session for M&Ms. Dance was @ the rooftop hall again, hate the heat. Did more HePing; not very good; don't know what to do; Liulaoshi not happy/satisfied; did not wear stockings today; forgot to buy my mandatory cold drink for rooftop hall sessions; don't see how we can maintain a "sneaky and evil" expression when our faces will be warped by the wrath of the horrible and uncomplementary nude stockings anyway. Lastly, hey I know how to make changes to html now :) although I still don't know how to add icons to a no-icon blogskin but I know how to change measurements, colours, add text headers now. Not bad for someone who can't find the forward button on gmail. |
