Someone makan dua puluh coklat. (Friday, August 14, 2009)
Today was Founders’ Day and there were no lessons.Morning assembly got changed from the quadrangle to the hall. That’s right; the whole school stuffed into one puny hall, with flags half the size of the makeshift flagpoles. Anthems and songs were sung; pledges were taken. A video nearing 20 minutes was shown from the 90th anniversary; principals/ board members/ ex-girls were invited on stage to give speeches about the commemoration of this special day + community work and giving back to society. 2/6 did great for funfair :D noodles, milo dinosaur and guylian chocolate managed to make quite a bit of profit yay. Didn’t really try the rest of the stalls because I only ate the noodles from our 206 KOPITIAM and yogurt ice cream. Red & White field gathering/cheering session was just stupidly hot. Why organise an outdoor activity at 12 noon, when the midday sun is glaring angrily at us? Anyway escaping is an extremely tiring thing to do too. Dance was great and awesome, for once, even though it was at the rooftop hall. The question of why was it at the rooftop hall shall go unanswered for the time being. I think we completed the dance (?) did we? I guess it’s an unexpected and like a surprise ending, then. FFF + dance @ rooftop = very tired I’m going to master the art of 丑脸 so that I can apply it when needed. |
